With this service, I use your chosen template as a base (either a Squarespace standard template or one of my premium Squarespace templates), then bring it to life with your branding, colours, fonts, text, and imagery—and also make thoughtful layout or functionality tweaks to ensure it works perfectly for your content.
From reorganising your service page layouts to weaving in space for more case studies and testimonials, I’ll shape the template a little to best suit your business. This isn’t just a technical setup — it’s a creative refinement process. I can lightly adjust layouts, introduce small custom touches, or add interactive details that elevate the design beyond the standard template structure.

Remember, simply changing the fonts and colours can alter the feel of the template quite drastically (take a look at the customisation examples on each template’s page!). If you’re not sure which template is right for you, submit and enquiry and we can discuss the options together!

“Book a call to chat with me. We’ll discuss which template you’ve chosen, or which template might be right for you if you’re not sure yet. I’ll find out all about your brand and we’ll discuss the changes I’ll make to the template if we decide to work together.

“Once you’re booked in on my schedule, you’ll need to get your content and branding together so that I can implement it into your chosen template. If you need a copywriter, I can refer you to an awesome colleague! You’ll also get access to the Template Hub like everyone else who purchases a template. This gives you access to a step-by-step guide that’ll walk you through collating your text and image content, and creating the basics of a brand identity if you don’t have one already. All my templates are professionally designed but a semi-custom build gets some extra attention, specifically geared to your unique content. Making sure it’s launch-ready without worry.
I’ll make sure you have browser icons, image ALT text, and meta descriptions for SEO – which can’t be included with a standard template.

Copywriting Prompts
You’ll be able to use your chosen template’s layout and copywriting prompts as a guide when providing copy for me to use on your site. Of course, we can slightly alter layouts to fit the things you need to say – but the existing prompts serve as a great jumping off point for the word-challenged!

Featuring a Step-By-Step Launch course, 50+ Squarespace Tutorial Videos, a Resource Library and Support Request Form, you can access all the great resources my template buyers receive to get to grips with Squarespace, learn more about good design, and help you keep your site running long-term.

Fully Custom Design & Coding
If you’re looking for a more bespoke design, you will be better served by one of my custom build website packages or, if your project is only 1-3 pages in size, perhaps a Design Day might suffice.

Substantial Additions
Although I will introduce new fonts and colours, and alter or re-arrange page layouts to fit your unique content, plus add a little additional functionality where required – this isn’t the best option if you’re hoping for sweeping or substantial structural and layout changes.

Multiple Rounds of Revisions
It’s good to make you aware that revisions on Day 2 are limited to a half day (4 hours). However, as you’ll have picked the template used as a base, and we’ll have discussed the new colours and fonts you wish to use in advance – revisions are usually just a little fine tuning and tidying up!

On-Going Aftercare
I am well known for the high level of on-going aftercare I provide to my custom website build clients. However, with a semi-custom site, free aftercare is limited to 3-months of email support and access to the Template Hub.
